CC Communications Redesigns Website for Industrial Battery & Charger, Inc.
New Site Improves Navigation and Accessibility for World-Class Power Distributor

CHARLOTTE – October 14, 2008 – Industrial Battery & Charger, Inc., the largest independent and family owned distributor of industrial batteries and chargers in the United States, has launched a completely redesigned website.

The new site, available at http://ibciplusone.com, was designed and produced by CC Communications, one of Charlotte's leading Web design and online marketing firms.

Industrial Battery & Charger, Inc., also known as IBCI, has served the Motive and Stationary power needs of the Eastern United States since 1977. One of the chief goals of the website redesign project was to improve navigation for visitors seeking solutions from the distinct Motive and Stationary divisions. CC Communications worked with IBCI to add color-coded navigation elements to the home page that intuitively and conveniently lead visitors to the right division, and the right power solution.

IBCI operates an extensive branch network consisting of 15 service locations to support their customer base. Another key aim of the new website was to enhance online accessibility for these service locations. An interactive map has been added that provides this solution. Visitors can access the map at http://ibciplusone.com/locations.aspx. The map page shows an enlarged view of the Eastern United States with clickable location icons. Selecting the state of interest zooms the user in for detailed information about each location, including a expedient "click to send email" contact feature. To return to the main map, users simply click on the state or rollover the return button. In the coming months, IBCI will add new segments to the site to showcase their new Diamond Series charger line and Energy Management Solutions division.

CC Communications also provides IBCI with business email solutions, email template development and domain management services, and is working with IBCI to develop an company Intranet site that will launch soon.
