CC Communications Wins Contract for Watauga County Tourism Website
Watauga County Tourism Development Authority Makes Plans for Dynamic Website Project

CHARLOTTE, NC. – December 05, 2007 – CC Communications, Inc., a leading Internet productivity and online marketing firm, has been awarded an important contract with The Watauga County District U Tourism Development Authority (WCTDA). CC Communications has been retained by WCTDA to design, maintain and host a comprehensive website aimed at promoting Watauga County as the ultimate outdoor adventure and relaxation tourism destination in the Eastern United States.
The intended audience for the new website includes anyone who is interested in vacations, activities and events available in Watauga County and the greater Boone NC area. The chief goal of the project is to establish the website as a primary marketing tool for WCTDA, promoting Watauga County and all it has to offer. The website will be designed to help convince new prospective tourists to select the Boone NC area as their tourism destination of choice and will include state-of-the-art online programming and interactive media content. Plans now under way will also address other important online marketing objectives such as search engine visibility and growth of tourism-based revenue streams.
The Watauga County District U Tourism Development Authority (WCTDA) is a local tourism development authority authorized by state and local government to promote travel, tourism, corporate travel and to sponsor and finance tourist-related events, activities and capital projects in District U. District U is defined as the unincorporated areas of Watauga County.
